I've got the problem with Compex RL100 NIC using winbond-840.c driver.
It is installed ok on both computers using those NICs and 2.2.15 kernel.
However, the network transfer rate performance is _very_ low (about 4-5
kb/s - I would rather have buyed 2 56k modems :).
Any time I try to pass some data through interface I've got the following
messages from the kernel:
eth0: oversized Ethernet frame spanned multiple buffers, entry [some
hexadecimal number, each time incremented by 1], status 80000000!
Yes, I've read the documentation on the driver, and got that the transfer
rate should be low - but I didn't knew it would be _as_ low...
While using Windows driver - everything is OK.
P.S.
Please, cc me on replys - I'm not on the list for now.
