Tiedetoimittajien 8. kansainvälinen kokous (The 8th World Conference of Science Journalists, http://wcsj2013.org/) pidetään Helsingin yliopistossa 24.-28.6. Paikalle odotetaan n. 500 tiedetoimittajaa. Yliopisto järjestää kokoukselle tiedettä esittelevää oheisohjelmaa uudessa Tiedekulmassa Porthaniassa.
Maanantaina 24.6. useat tietojenkäsittelytieteen laitoksen tutkijat esittelevät tutkimustaan tiedetoimittajille ja yleisölle: Hannu Toivonen, Tuomas Sivula, Roman Yangarber, Giulio Jacucci ja Joonas Paalasmaa. Ohjeman aikataulu on ohessa. Ohjelma on englanniksi.
