About

My current research (from 2015) takes place in the context Need for Speed (N4S) program of Digile. The focus is on software variability management.

Most of my publications come from the field of product and service configuration in its various forms, including modeling, configurators, operations management aspects of business processes based on product and service configuration, design for configuration and recommendation of configurable offerings. I actively participate in program committees and act as a reviewer in related journals (e.g. AI EDAM), confenreces and workshops.

I am also interested in supporting service business of equipment suppliers based on advanced utilization of information about their service base that includes both own and competitor's product individuals. What are key decisions in context of services such as 'full service' or 'operate and maintain'? What information is required and how to get it? How to model that information? How to process it into actionable form?
