100 Mbytes hard disk)
was used by Linus Torvalds at the Department of Computer Science
1993-
1994 while he was working on the
early versions of the Linux kernel.
The device is currently on display at the
Helsinki University Museum.
The PC name “humalluoto” refers (like all PC names at the time at the CS Department)
to a small island in Helsinki archipelago.
