This is an undergraduate course in Computer Science. The course is obligatory for cl. After the course you are expected to understand the basic concepts related with programming of concurrent and distributed systems, to know the essential problem formulations, and to be able to apply common solution methods.

Course book is G.R. Andrews: Foundations of Multithreaded, Parallel, and Distributed Programming. Addison-Wesley, 2000.
