New exercises will be published here usually on Wednesdays.

You can get up to 10 points from the exercises depending on the total amount of solved problems (3 solved problems = 1 course point).

The course exam (2 1/2 hours) is on Wednesday the 25th of February from 4 pm to 7 pm in A111. The course exam is worth 50 points.
The next separate exam where your exercise points are still valid is on Friday the 27th of March from 4 pm to 7 pm .
Click here to check the dates and sites of the course and separate exams.

Guidelines for students who cannot follow the (Finnish language) lectures:

  • Read the chapters from the text book (required sections are mentioned in the exercises pages).
  • Do the weekly exercises to test that you have learned the material. Write your solutions on paper.
  • Participate to the small group session on Thursday 10-12. If this time does not suite for you, contact the instructor.
  • Repeat this for five weeks and then prepare for the course exam.

Please start working at the same time when the lectures begin. If you wait until the first exercise is due, it will probably be too late to catch up.

Empty papers are full of space for knowledge.
