Question 1 (graded by Mika) a) 1 point for each explanation b) 1 point for correct answers + 2 points for correct explanations (1 for both processes) c) 1 point for correct answer + 2 points for correct explanation (or 1 if there was some mistakes) Question 2 (graded by Tiina) a), b) and c) 1 point for correct answer + 1 point for the reasoning (or some explanation for the answer) c) HINT: To create the correct buddy system tree, you need to break some of the continuous areas. They belong to different parts in the tree, but for continuous area in the memory. Question 3 (graded by Mika) a) 1 point for specifying the registers, especially page table register + 2 points for explaining how the address translation works b) 2 points for correct clock-algorithm (1 point if there was some mistakes or a clock variant instead of the real clock) + 1 point if the result was correct and the explanation too. Note the explanation had to agree with the algorithm specified above. In other words, if there was a clock variant explained, then the result had to also use the same variant. c) 3 points if the figure was correct OR 2 points if there was some small errors OR 1 point if many errors (but still resembled the correct algorithm)
