The Department invites all staff on a walking trip to a bird watching tower in viikki. It is an easy 50 min walk from the Kampus to Viikki, led by our "native guide" Jani, via the beautiful Toukolan puisto along the shore. Afterwards, we might stop at a restaurant terrace to enjoy some refreshments (on our own cost). You can also take a city bus back from Viikki.

Dress according to the weather. Comfortable walking shoes are needed. We will provide some very light snacks (because someone needs to carry them :) so please bring a water bottle or something like that with you. Also, bring binoculars if you want to watch birds. And a book with pictures of regional birds if you want to know what you see...

If the weather is really bad, we will cancel the trip.

Also, spouses are welcome to join the walk!

The walk leaves from the main entrance of Exactum at 13:00. We might divide ourselves into small groups according to desired walking speed etc.
