Tervehdys / Greetings!
Tietojenkäsittelytieteen laitos kutsuu henkilökuntansa kokeilemaan kiipeilyä boulderoinnin muodossa 7.4. klo 10.
Boulderointi on kiipeilyn alalaji, jossa kiivetään ilman köysiä tai valjaita matalilla seinillä, joilta voi turvallisesti tiputtautua (n. 5 m ja patjat pudottautumista varten).
Boulderoimaan menemme Herttoniemen Boulderkeskus Isatikseen, Mekaanikonkatu 15, jonne meille on varattu tarvittaessa myös ohjausta ensikertalaisille.
Mukaan tarvitset liikuntavaattet, vesipullon ja peseytymisvälineet. Mikäli et omista omia kiipeilykenkiä, saat lainata sellaiset paikan päällä.

The Department of Computer Science invites its staff to try bouldering, a form of rock climbing, on 7th April at 10 o'clock.
Bouldering is a type of rock climbing in which the climber does not need to use ropes or harnesses as the routes are short enough for the climber to drop down safely from the top (ca. 5 meters with foam matresses for landing).
Bouldering will take place in bouldering centre Isatis in Herttoniemi, Mekaanikonkatu 15, where we also have a professional instructor helping beginners out.
You will need clothes suitable for sports, a waterbottle, towel and other hygiene products you need for a shower. If you do not own climbing shoes yourself, you can lend a pair in the bouldering gym.
