Digital media technology S00, Session 5 (17.-20.10.)

1. In this exercise, you can use any image processing software but the instructions are for Gimp, which is available in the Linux environment of the department. Try, following the instructions of the page http://jgo.local.net/GimpGuide/text_shadow.html, how to create shadowed text. In case indexing (in step 5) changes the shadow to have one color only, do before indexing 'Layers->Flatten image'. This removes extra layers, but unfortunaly also the possible transparency of the background.
