Instruction

The work is instructed on weekly individual meetings with the instructor (20 min). The form of instruction may be agreed with the instructor. All the attendants must register on an instruction group.

This course has on instruction group in English on both periods. The instructor will be Henning Lübbers. In addition to the registration you should contact the instructor by e-mail (lubbers(at)cs.helsinki.fi) before the first instruction meeting. The instruction times are

first period: 11.09.-16.10. FRI 10-14 A219
second period: 06.11.-11.12. FRI 14-18 A218

The individual instruction meetings will be mostly held during the time given in the study program.

Each student makes his/her own time schedule, but the instructors have got the following example of the time schedule:

week	tasks
week 1	a definition of the project topic, an outline of the system (overview diagram), use cases
week 2	a structure of the database, the requirement and design document ready by the end of the week
week 3	feedback on the design, an outline of the user interface
week 4	a structure of the application, details of the user interface
week 5	implementation, programming, testing
week 6	implementation document, demos
week 7	a deadline of the project
week 8 tai 9	feedback for the student

A help-desk for technical questions will be established on the third course week.
