"Welcome to the University" -event for all new employees
Welcome to the University- event is targeted for all the new employees of the University of Helsinki. The aim of the session is to provide participants with a new perspective on the University as a workplace and with useful information about the University as an employer.
In addition, the participants will be aided in establishing an overview of their place in the academic community and understanding the significance of their work for the overall performance of the University.
The participants will be provided with an opportunity to address questions concerning practical issues of relocation. The aim is to give the participants practical answers to their questions.
The session will be conducted by representatives of the administration of the University. The topics of the session are for examble:
- Information on International Staff Services
- The mission and vision of the University
- University as an employer
- Wellbeing
