The degree requirements of 2005-2007 are valid only until 31 July 2011.

If you study according to them, please note the following:

IF YOU ARE DOING YOUR MSc THESIS: Important deadline! 

• MSc Theses are formally approved by the Department Council. In order to get the formal approval before July, your MSc Thesis must be finished and reviewed by your supervisor by 19 May 2011 (since the last Department Council meeting is in early June). In order to allow supervisors enough time for the review, you must leave your finished Thesis for review by 12 April 2011 unless you agree more flexible time-frame directly with your supervisors.

OTHER TIMETABLES:

It is possible to graduate (BSc and MSC) with 2005 degree requirements as late as 26 August 2011. Faculty of Science hard deadline for submitting your form is 15 August 2011. You do not have to graduate before the end of July even though your MSc Thesis must be formally accepted before July.

ADDITIONAL INTERPRETATION:

If you do not get your degree latest by 15 Aug 2011, you start to follow 2008 or later degree requirements. Please note that:

• If you have finished your 2005-compliant "Advanced studies in CS" study module (80 credits) before 31 July 2011, it will stay valid in 2008- and 2010-requirements.
