International Staff Services will be available on the Kumpula, Meilahti and Viikki campus starting this September. The aim is to bring the services closer to the different faculties, departments and units as well as increase general knowledge about the services. One member of the team will be present on each campus on a regular basis, starting with once a month. International Staff Services will be available on campus from 9 am to 4 pm as follows:

Every 1st Thursday of the month at the Meilahti Campus Service Centre (Biomedicum 2B, Tukholmankatu 8 B, 6th floor), starting on 1.9.2011

Every 2nd Thursday of the month at the Viikki Campus Service Centre (Infotalo Korona, Viikinkaari 11 A, 5th floor), starting on 8.9.2011

Every 3rd Thursday of the month at the Kumpula Campus Service Centre (Exactum, Gustaf Hällströmin katu 2b, 1st floor), starting on 15.9.2011

On other weekdays the services are available at the City Centre Campus (Yliopistonkatu 4, 3rd floor) and at Töölö Towers (Pohjoinen Hesperiankatu 23 A). International Staff Services help the international staff and those supporting them at the University of Helsinki. The ISS Team gives advice and information on matters relating to working at UH, immigration, social security and settling in, for instance.
