Reminder about the University of Helsinki Instructions for Travel: bonus points

Bonus points (e.g., FinnairPlus)

Any benefits received from work-related travel paid for by the University
will belong to the University, and possible free tickets and accommodation
thus acquired must always be used for work-related travel.

Personnel who frequently travel abroad may join a bonus programme, such as
FinnairPlus. Such employees must list the mailing address of the
University of Helsinki as their address in the bonus programme. Travel
coordinators may monitor the accrual of bonus points together with the
traveller and ensure that the points are used for work-related travel.
Bonus information must be submitted to a University representative as
needed.

Bonus points accrued from work-related travel must be registered on a
separate card that cannot be used for accruing personal holiday points.
Finnair, for example, will issue two cards: one for work-related travel
and one for managing personal holiday points.
