Open source game server was released on Monday, 13th October, 2008
The server can be used for playing Texas Hold 'em between people or playing between bots or both. The server is also easily to expand with other simple turn based games.

Presentation of ongoing research is given by the head of lab and Teemu Saukonoja. The place is Runeberg hall, the main building of University of Helsinki, at 10:000 and the date is Wednesday 3 of October 2007.
Meeting of Gamics Lab 2007
The meeting will be held on Friday, the 25th of May 2007, at 13:15 o'clock in the class D122. The program includes
- a general talk on the current status of the Lab,
- M.Sc. and B.Sc. thesis presentations, and
- unofficial Department's Texas Hold 'em championship competition
      (participation requires registration in Moodle).
Everybody interested is welcomed!

Opening
The official opening of the lab, which is at the same time The First Meeting of the Gamics Lab, will be arranged on Friday, the 16th of December 2005 at 10 a.m. in room B221 of the Exactum building. The program includes:
- a general talk on ideas of founding the lab,
- announcement of a logo competition,
- M.Sc. thesis presentations (completed and planned),
- Robocode deathmatch for participants of seminar AI Algorithms in Computer Games, and
- demonstrations of computer games done in the course Game and Virtual Environment.
