Competitive programming

I'm one of the organizers of the Finnish Olympiad in Informatics (Datatähti) and a coach and a team leader of Finnish BOI and IOI teams.

I've written a book on competitive programming, which is available here.

Melody search and transcription

I received my PhD in 2015 from the University of Helsinki. The title of my PhD thesis is Algorithms for melody search and transcription, and it is available here.

Error-correcting codes

In 2016–2017, I worked at the Aalto University in Patric Östergård's group. We found a large number of new error-correcting codes which are presented here.
