mavisgroup-fullCVSROOT.tar.bz2 (69.0MB) : contains the direct contents of the CVS repository

As this is the CVS root repository, it contains the entire history of changes made to all the files. It should be possible to extract this and use as a basis for a new repository elsewhere, although it probably will require a little bit of tweaking to get the permissions proper.

mavis-incl-ikayaki_fullSource_noCVStags.zip (41.8MB) : only source and binaries

This zip contains the source, project files, manual, test files, JRE, associated setup generator binaries, etc. No CVS tags nor CVS "private" data is included. This file is what you most likely want, if you want to compile Mavis or Ikayaki without fetching them from the CVS. Contains Ikayaki v1.1 and Mavis 1.0 final versions (05/05/2006)

How to build:

- install Java JDK 1.5.0_06 or later
- install IntelliJ IDEA 5.1
- check IDEA settings and locate the Java JDK 1.5.0 path
- open MAVIS.IPR project in IDEA if you want to compile Mavis
- open SQUID.IPR project in IDEA if you want to compile Ikayaki
