Applying For Tools or Support

In order to get access to  the CINCOLAB facilities,  please fill in the CINCOLAB Request Form. The request will be directed to the CINCOLAB and you will be given a reply as soon as the request has been processed; this is a port  for a number of accounts being set up by a variety of people, so it may take some time too.   Please indicate your course combinations, laboratory topic details and tool requirements carefully so we can judge what systems you may need in near future. 

Inquiries and Issues about Materials

In general, if there is any inquiries related to the course materials, learnings, and other educational issues students are advised to contact the followings;

• Their respective course assistant
• Course instructor

However, if the inquiry is related to the configurations and/or installations (not the teaching materials), students may try the following options in order;

• Respective course assistant 
• Course instructor
• Group Leader: Lea Kutvonen
• IT-support of the CS-department  (if it is clearly a generic problem, not course or research project related problem).

How to form an Inquiry?

• Name and Title of the requesting person.
• The cause of the issue if known. What user wanted to do? and what went wrong?
• Which OS and tool the user plans to utilize?
• Which course is the tool belonging and who is the course responsible person?
• What was the error message, if any?
• What steps has been taken to solve the issue, if any?
• Other information that the user thinks it will help...
